Omyhx Curse

The omyhx curse is a horrific condition with little known cause other than that is somehow related to the Omyhx Thicket, or other damned forrest of the nefadric empire.

Transmission & Vectors

Victims of the omyhx curse, are thought to have aquired the curse by succuming to the influence of a damned forrest. This can be because they ventured to deep into one of these damned forrests and have thier will broken, though for especially weak willed characters it is possible to contract the curse by simply being to close to one of these horrible forrests.

Symptoms

I feel like a slave bound by chains. To be alive is my greatest suffering, every passing day is like a lash of a spiked whip on my bear skin. I carry so many scars and open wounds that those arround me look at me, like i am a damend pale corpse.

When the curse first manifests, victims are becoming increasingly lethargic and have a hard time to find the motivation to go about thier day to day busniss. Over the course of the next days the lethargy and lack of motivation grows into a full fledged loss of hope, anexiety and are plauged by a underlying sense of impending doom. Those afflicted with the curse will feel compelled to venture into the forrest, at first they be able to resist the urge, though the longing will grow every day they avoid venturing into a damned forrest. Only by visiting one of these disgusting places, promises to ease thier suffering. No matter what they do, any victim of the curse will grow pale, like they have been drained of thier life force. Though should they not give in to the urge to visit a damned forrest further afflicitons and their state will progressivly worsen, both mentaly and physicaly.
