Omyhx Thicket
The Omyhx Thicket, the forest of Ubos is perilous, his rotting canopies housing the deadliest creatures that roam the lands. Nowhere is more despised than the Omyhx Thicket. There is hardly any place on Kreworis that can compare to the horrors we have already seen on it's outskirts, let us pray for Jubix favor, should we reach the north.Like much of the Nefadric Empire, Ubos is heavily wooded. Unlike other places though, the trees seem to crave blood. There are many tales of how a hut built too close to the Omyhx Thicket was discovered to have a tree roots boring into the bodies of the unfortunates sleeping within. It's not just trees the smallfolk must be wary of, for in this sinister forest the fauna is as blood-hunger as the flora... The nefadric citizens know not to venture into the woods. Even most lumberjacks have forsaken the forrest entirely, as the omyhx wood has been found unsuitable for anything else than exotic crafts. Those brave or stupid enough to procure only venture into the thicket in large groups when the supplies are at it's scarecest and yet chopping down a tree could easily bring about a bloody retaliation. Of course, there are other horrific things there, even more terrifying than the trees themselves, more so than simple Fell Bats and Dire Wolves. Such things are sought by many circles of the Nefadric Aristocracy, who wish to add them to their hordes.
Geography
The northern part of the Omyhx Thicket is generally more perilous the closer one gets to the Blackrock Mountain Range. An exception to this is a small portion of the forrest that is close to the Foundry Ward of Aodios, as it has been further twisted due to heavy pollution.
Fauna & Flora
Blood Trees
All around the Omyhx Thicket are the blood trees, with trunks swollen on corruption and roots that seek out blood for sustenance. The canopies of such trees are filled with macabre red flesh like leaves and are decorated with crude and vile fetishes. As well as a gathering point for savage creatures, they are places where some shaman come to try to commune with the more sinster nefadric gods.
