Who is Shar

Shar was the goddess of darkness , as well as a neutral evil deity. Unlike her twin Selûne, she presided over caverns, darkness, dungeons, forgetfulness, loss, night, secrets, and the Underdark. Among her array of twisted powers was the ability to see everything that lay or happened in the dark. Shar was also the creator of the Shadow Weave, which was a counterpart and attack upon the Weave, controlled by Mystryl and her successors, before both of the Weaves fell into ruin during the Spellplague.

Shar had many battles with her sister throughout the years, Shar actively trying to kill her. The most known is 'The War of Light and Darkness' they fought over the fate of their creators. Selûne reached out of the universe altogether and into a plane of fire and, though it burned her painfully, brought forth a fragment of ever-living flame. She created the sun in order to give warmth to Chauntea. This angered Shar and renewed her attack on her now injured sister and started to take away all light and warmth within the universe. Selûne ripped out some of her own divine essence almost killing her, and threw it at Shar. It bonded with Shars essence and pulled it loose, creating the goddess Mystryl, the first goddess of magic. Mystryl sided with Selûne and helped create a truce between the two of them. Selûne was left deeply wounded and her power would fluctuate whereas Shar's power only grew stronger. she got consumed by bitterness and loneliness, she swore she would get vengeance and she awaits her time to strike.

Her position in the war:

Shars kingdom was the first to be taken over by the rebellion, now her kingdom is used for all the leaders of the rebellion to meet up and plan upcoming attacks. Those who reside in her kingdom all seemed to be okay with this development unlike other kingdoms who fled when the rebellion took over their kingdom. Shar's kingdom has been shut off no outsider knows how to get in though fi you some how got close enough u can see members of the rebellion able to get it.
