Kronos

A small planet in an otherwise unimportant star system, Kronos is home to an expansive list of species and races and cultures across its three major continents.

Celestial Properties

Kronos is a small-size Earth-like planet inside its primary star's habitable zone. It has two satellites, both of which are tidally locked.
The White Moon orbits on a 28-day phase and is roughly the same size and luminosity as Earth's moon.
The Black Moon sits in Kronos' L-2 Largrange point and is subsequently always in Kronos' umbral shadow. As such it is extremely difficult to see and its existence is only really acknowledged by astronomers and a few select cultures of magic.

Geography

Kronos possesses three continents; two of which were naturally formed millions of years ago through volcanic and tectonic activity early in the planet's formation, with the third being a more recent (tens of thousands of years) geographic feature as result of a massive Battle of Kronos.

Elsewhere

The largest continent, referred to by scholars and adventures simply as “@Else”, spans 120 degrees east-to-west of the southern hemisphere and is a lush sub-tropical landmass shrouded in mist and vegetation. Though it possesses no sentient races or culture of any kind, the untamed wilderness is home to a vast array of megafauna and megaflora as well as numerous active volcanoes.

Frostnight

The second continent is an icy barren desert located at the southern pole of Kronos, and though it is the second largest landmass on the planet it is home to the least amount of life. Only a few hardy species of animals live there, though it is home to a few stout and rough tribal cultures who refer to the continent as “Vostayaka” which translates (roughly) to “Frostnight” or “Darksnow” in the local dialects.

Kronos

The third and smallest continent is by far the most varied and home to the largest variance of landscapes and species and cultures. Located primarily in the northern hemisphere and straddling the equator on the opposite side of the planet from Elsewhere, it plays home to deserts, dark forest, highland prairie, deep jungles, icy mountain peaks, and even the harsh biome of a high-altitude arid plateau and ice-locked seas. This third continent (colloquially self-titled as "Kronos") is home to the most diverse species and races—a direct result of the cataclysm that created the landmass also seeding it with the multiple sapient and non-sapient species found on it today.
