Rondo
Rondo is a smuggler and expert conman. Loud, talkative, sociable, quick to laugh and a joker so it's hard to read Rondo but everyone sure does like him! It is known he has a weakness for rare books and drinks. Trading and acquiring both in large qualities, selling what he does not want at his shop in Waldenport. He is also unequal when it comes to being a conman, it's never wise to work a deal with him as its guaranteed he gets the better bargain. Rumors of him running triple sting cons is not uncommon. Having inhuman like abilities with daggers and anything that can be thrown. His rouge abilities are extremely impressive and if you ever need the best smuggler on the west coast then look no further.
He never does anything unless there is a hefty amount of profit involved, he would sooner let a person drown during negations of how much the rope is really worth before he does something that does not greatly benefit himself. Once he does make any dealings with a person, that person will shall ever be in his debt being called upon with favors that gets one killed if they do not do as instructed. If one knows what's best, they will simply avoid Rondo all together as it would be in their best interest. When Rondo gets involved, the price will be overly exaggerated and will also come with interest to be collected at a later time with favors. If it's not of huge sums of value, he does not waste his precious time with it.
Little is known of his past as he avoids talking about the earlier years expect for something went horribly wrong during childhood causing the death of his family leaving him all alone in the world with his older sister. Even while still teenagers, together they were able to take over the local thief's guild and not long after that was contacted by the mysterious Shadow Organization. Shortly afterwards the thief's guild vanished without a trace. It is assumed they pulled some members into the shadows and dispatched those unwilling to swear loyalty to the shadow. The siblings were quicker to make people permanently disappear instead of having to deal with someone knowing their darker secrets.
These days Rando runs and operations his legal business, which is a local shop offering a well-stocked bar offering rare, unique drinks and books. The regular customers come in to read, drink and gossip. It has been rumored there is actually a secret basement under the shop without anyone knowing it was built.
While in this region of the empire… if it has anything to do with secrets, spying, information, stealing, smuggling, espionage or other shadowy endeavors… chances are these two will be involved one way or another but for an extremely high price.
