Temple of the Light

The typical Temple of the Light is is an twelve-sided, or sometimes circular building with a dome roof. Typically, the Temple is constructed out of white stone, and is usually raised above the ground a few steps, although the larger Temples may have a dozen or more steps. There is also usually a garden, or at least a special tree, outside dedicated to Rabab, god of Nature. Inside the Temple, the other eleven Risen are presented either as mosaics on the walls, or as statues around the perimeter of the main hall, Anno the Light is always directly opposite the entrance. The dome always holds a Sun Crystals that is arranged to refract the noon light so that the mosaics or statues of the Risen are bathed in light.   In larger Temples, there is a separate building housing the priests and priestess that serve the Temple, and some also have a monastery for the Holy Order of the Bringers and Protectors of the Light Resplendent.
