Religion and the Deities

The gods and goddesses of Kyrn are divided into two groups.  

The Risen

The Risen are the gods and goddesses of the Middle Lands. The reside in Upper Lands and watch over the Middle Lands, protecting them from the Fallen.​ In the Middle Lands, the Church of the Light is the main group of worshipers

The Fallen

The Fallen are those entities that reside in the Lower Lands. Some of them were cast out of the Upper Lands, some of them were evil beings from the Middle Lands that were refused entrance to the Upper Lands after death, and sent to the Lower Lands as punishment for their deeds.​ Not much is known about the worshipers of the Fallen, but they are often referred to as the Dark Ones
