Personal history

Chran cannot remember his past. He woke up one day on the shore of Absalom with no memory of how he got there. His clothes were torn, and he looked like he had been through some kind of ordeal. He also noticed he had wounds on his body as if he had been shocked or hit by lightning. Chran wondered his way into town to see if anyone recognized him, but they did not, and he ended up being harassed by some people, apparently his 'race' isn't popular with everyone. During the harassment he found that he had the ability to use magic to defend and heal himself, and also that sometimes spells caused a storm to appear around him.
He found sanctuary in the church of Shelyn, here he found out he was a fairly good, if untrained, singer and enjoyed the teachings related to looking for the beauty in the world.
Chran slowly came to terms with his abilities, and has made some friends, but still does not know about his history, what happened to him, or why this happened to him.
