Brillén Dream Catcher

Ever since the conclusion of the War on Barbarism and Saja Maut's rise to power, the nation of Brillé has been blighted with increases instances of nightmares. While these claims were few and far between in the first few decades of Saja's reign, his recent years have seen the nightmares grow into a national crisis.   To resolve the nightmares, priests of Saja Maut created the dream catchers and began shipping them to all corners of the nation, starting with farmers and miners. The dream catchers have provided relief to many and maybe the nation's only hope for recovering its means of production. Blessed with the protection of Saja Maut himself, it's no wonder they work so efficiently. As the New Scripture outlines, the only one truly capable of defeating The Impersonator is the Pride Leader himself.    Unfortunately, the slow response to the nightmares means that production was already impacted. This decline affects the weavers, meaning dream catchers can not be made quick enough to respond to the growing threat.

The Snowball Effect

Ever since individuals first received nightmares in outer crop settlements, sleep quality began declining. The problem was minuscule at first as farmers slept more to prepare for the day of labor. As the nightmares spread, entire crops failed due to a lack of management. While the government ensured the farmers worked sufficient hours, many died from exhaustion over the course of weeks.   As food quality and amount declined, citizen rations suffered, leading to worse worker efficiency nationwide. Products of all nature have worsened especially construction and mining efforts. As Brillé continues to decline, the weavers have few resources to work with and little energy to perform their jobs. As the production quality of artisans reverberates throughout the nation, a snowball effect tumbles out of control, leaving the people's future in question.

Suspicious, but Successful

During the reign of Saja Maut, increased dreams brought on by The Impersonator required action. Thankfully, the priests created the dream catchers and improved production. Unfortunately, dwindling resources mean not every citizen has the protection they need. To those who have begun immigrating into the nation, the dream catchers are dubious and often considered objects of suspicion and surveillance; however, after their application has spread across the population, they seem to improve sleep quality and prevent the plight of nightmares. How long they will continue to be successful is subject to scrutiny as The Impersonator only seems to grow in power each day, but for now, they suffice.
