Ettermiddag Raider Factions

The Ettermiddag Raider Factions are a series of tribes throughout Trinen that originated during the dark ages of Ettermiddag, though some remain to this day. Ruled by warlords, most of them have fizzled into common streat thieves, but larger groups have been rumoured to remain in the Icelands, while others may have gone to Mot D'nir. The different factions, run by different Warlords, are as follows:

• The Cult of Verivem 
• Snowhammers
• The Shuckers 
• The El-Faux 
• The Grindstones
• The Kyte Forest Raiders

While there were plenty more raiding groups and different warlords, these were the largest groups before their fall in Ettermiddag. They practically controlled any open territory that the larger cities and their defenses couldn't oversee. They brought a new age of harsh slavery, savagery, and brutality. Much information was lost to history as these raiders ravaged the lands by killing emissaries, burning lesser known libraries, and starting new myths and legends.
The Cult of Verivem and Snowhammers grew the largest populations and would also have the most problematic. Verivem was known to distort the truth and reality, while also being the cause of Ettermiddag as it coincided with his arrival. The Snowhammers would eventually fall to worship Milin Orphi, making them a prime target for the new order of Eldur Knights and Saltkrigere Paladins.
