Kaster Logratte
Kaster, like his older brother Vyr, desired the throne of The Islands Five. He was content with his cousin being selected to rule, as the Logratte name was the most important thing and she would not change her name in marriage.
Kaster was insulted after the death of Lili Logratte, as her father (Ugur Skaldson) had gone on to have children with the lowly Silkweaver family. Both of them were considered for leadership before Kaster. Unfortunately, Astinor Skaldson would go on to rule poorly from afar as he went on many expeditions to The Icelends. After his death, the son of Kaster was finally put on the throne.
Kaster's main concern with Astinor was that he had no blood from Warren the Steward. Kaster told The Islands Five that if Astinor ruled, it would put the seat of Baron in Shellbay, rather than the Isles. Kaster held strong to the idea that the Isles were to be the seat of rulership, and that they should not fall into subservience.
