Ohkinate (oh-kin-ate)

While taking up part of the Taopinist pantheon, the Ohkinate are not seen as divine beings. They are often seen as the antithesis of the Uthuquate just as the Ohdaufeen are the antithesis of the Ithitar. The Ohkinate are seen as architects of the universe that build and maintain it over time. The Ohkinate maintain the universe against the chaos brought on by the Waters of Taev. The only known Ohkinate is Ornjack, the Architect.
Ornjack goes by the title "the Architect" to most, but the most common religion titles him as "the Terrible." Regardless of the church's major assertions that Ornjack is an enemy of Taopin, the stories of Bailumism are the most commonplace tales across the land, painting Ornjack as a fair and gentle giant.
While Ornjack is the only of the Ohkinate referred to by name, he is presumed to be from a larger brood, as he refers to himself as "one of many and lesser to more." While those of his order are supposed to hold the universe together, Ornjack himself is an exception. He cut the silk that connects Laminarum to the rest of the universe after "the Serpent" took advantage of his kindness. He now serves as an architect to Laminarum alone.
Presumably, there are more Ohkinate than just the Arachnoids themselves but any references to them are lost.
