Vail Ikidas

Vail Ikidas is the devil of betrayal and deceit. Originally a self-absorbed Ithitar with a mind towards pride, she was corrupted by Milin Orphi's Rhythm and Vile. Her transformation marked a great change in power and domain which led to her promotion as an Inutherin. This demon maintains control over much of the realm known as The Colored Doors, where those that fall under her umbrella are forever tormented. The exception would be those who dedicate their lives and souls to her, breaking the cycle of reincarnation set by Taopin. It is said that the plane has great treasures and boundless pools of power that are only accessible to mortals, and it is those who are devoted to Vail who are able to access these realms and come to rule over them. Of course, this is only a deception. Those who become lords and kings only come to play in her subtle game of politics, where she aims to make all of the plane subject to her power. Due to her corruption by Milin Orphi though, she often can't resist betrayals of passion and spectacle, setting her own plans back.
She serves The Ancient Ithitar for several reasons. On one hand, she wishes to bring together a plan to destroy him for sullying her beauty (though he claims her corruption was an improvement). On the other, she still wishes to please him out of her stubborn pride that remains from her original form. Regardless, scripture states that she is doomed to never overcome Milin Orphi, as much stronger Ithitar have tried (such as Anoch Athylis and failed).
