Life, Death
Death of Tut Maut as a result of his fire magic.
As time went on after the Mountainfold, famine grew worse for Brille. With very little clean water, their crops would die by the wayside and the grasses for their cattle became a poison. Tut Maut, and most others, in J'tsan Khefri were unaffected by this at first. Large portions of food would still find their way to the royals while the farmers themselves were subject to starvation. The death of the farmers created an increasingly worse cycle of food losses. Eventually, the royals were hit as well. Tut Maut grew paranoid and greedy for any food he could get his hands on, and even those bits left him thinning and weak. As anger took hold of him, he would subject his servants to fire and torture for coming up short. The lack of biomatter combined with his draining fire magic use would eventually lead to his death at a young age, especially when compared to Can En, the longest-living Pride Leader. He would be buried deep within the catacombs under Khefri. His body was well preserved and hidden in a region of the tomb that few people have access to.
