Vhou Riyael Investigates Waning Keep's Infrastructure

The period in which Vhou Riyael collected intel regarding the Waning Keep.

While the western elves did not allow the passage of eastern or southerners into their territory, word eventually got out about the magnificent Waning Keep from J'barri travelers. The tales piqued Riyael's interest, so he pressed Paele Haerehel for information. While she was hesitant at first she would eventually cave. Small bits of information were acquired from the South but he would also send his own spies.   These spies were caught as they tried to investigate the chains that hold the keep down. Upon being questioned, they were executed and Levrin sent a letter to Riyael telling him to relent his research as it unsettled the Westerners and implied foul play.   Vhou did relent in his research temporarily, but he was enraged by the outright execution of his men. While he would not act out at this insult, he would hold the same brutality towards any future spies he caught from the West.
