The uniting of the lands within Eldurgrund by the Eldur Knights.
While Eldurgrund had existed in a disbanded state for centuries, Ettermiddag destroyed any chances for the barony to maintain order and fly their flag all across the planes they had come to conquer. After theWar of Storms and Wings , the Eldur Knights had been left fully unoccupied for the first time since the era had begun. No raider organizations remained, their nearby territory was regained, and peace was prevailing within the newly finished city of Euvurcrest. The knights wished to spread this peace for a future of security and elected not to replace their recently fallen baron. In their travels away from the mountains, the soldiers (now envoys) were able to recover lands that they had thought were long lost. The distinct and beautiful Árkastali was found, though mostly destroyed. It would make a good temporary base for the soldiers as they expanded westward, eventually reaching the the territory held by the noteworthy Kjelt family. Surrounded by newly formed bogs and "fog that you could cut with a knife," the soldiers were eventually greeted by the new Threadweaver Family, who had taken to controlling the land in the "absence" of their old lord. The envoys would quickly leave after the residents agreed to join the larger Eldurgrund organization, but would scarcely return, and left with more rumors in writing than pacts. This expansion would continue, finding small villages that had barely managed to survive the last few centuries and setting up show across all of the land's natural borders. The only exemption would be the Northlends, as they didn't want to risk the wrath of the potential raiders still in the area. Perhaps the most notable accomplishments in this time would be the delving of land to the Icelend Dwarves at Duerinilar and the construction of the historically pivotal Eldursteries. It was around the western mountain range that the establishments were built. A raging wildfire would see the organization move into the mountains with the help of commissioned dwarves. These monasteries would serve as lodging for the monks, who oversaw the religious and cultural facets of the barony. It was to be ruled by the Archpriest while a new Baron was elected amongst the the Eldur Knights. The Monastic Order of the Eldursteries would serve as the cultural center that Eldurgrund would need to advance their kingdom far beyond their current goals while maintaining a central culture. While it was only incubating for now, the seeds for empire were planted in this great reclamation. For now, their eyes were set on rebuilding.
