The Paranoia resulting from Esha's Crusade Plea, dragging Kala into a dark age of fascism and martial law for years to come.

Esha's Crusade Plea was heard by many during a Council of Kala's leaders, and it was taken to heart by a large portion of Kala's people, especially after the burning of a large church.   For years, martial law would be instated and the worship of Ferrehet was brought to the forefront. People were often accused of worshipping J'bar without real cause for suspicion, leading to public execution. Before long, even those that worshipped Riiji were persecuted. The Plea Paranoia shut down any hope of trade that Kala would have with the elves and Roja's trade pacts became dicey, but would return to normal in future years. For now, the city would be steeped in fear.
