Kanel Logratte returns to the Snow Rock Isles

The relocation of Kanel Logratte after his mishaps with the new lands.

Kanel Logratte did not wish to leave the new lands, though he missed home. Returing to the isles would be seen as weak, but his council became more and more insistent, claiming that the longer he stayed at Shellbay, the longer his mistakes would follow him. The council came to be quite embarrassed by him with his increasing refusal to take any advice whatsoever.   It was not until the council fibbed that the Helgaards were beginning to question the betrothment between Anise and Kanel that he finally returned, promoting Hamish Troutlung (so named for his several survived encounters with the Fish Egg Flu).   Kanel returned home, where he would continue to put his attention on ruling his people abroad. He would not come to learn that attempting to rule the Shellbays was a fruitless endeavor from this far away within his lifetime. He would go on to become negligent of his people on the homefront, being distracted by stories of pioneers.
