Mental Trauma
4 years ago, he was hit in the head with an ax and left for dead. Gutter boy took him to a healing priest, but before the priest could help the poor lad. He awoke and charged out of the temple. armed with the ax that had been in his head, he found the group that had attacked him. he killed them all without remorse, chopping them into little pieces. That is when he got the name Butcher.
