Heretics

There was once a group of priests that lived near The Deep Death , they lived to warn people away from the area. They warned of the cats that prowled nearby that would glow near the ring of giant black spikes protruding from the ground. One day a Sand Diver approached the ring and killed a Glow Cat in the center of it. This sparked many of the members of the priests to go mad, feeling their life was a lie. They killed many of their fellow priests that stuck to the danger of the area and painted themselves in the blood of the glow cats and shine when they near the ring of spikes. Now they are called the Heretics. They value change and do not fear the unknown. They arm themselves with spiked weapons to bring the spines of The Deep Death with them. They haven't risked digging towards The Deep Death, yet.
