Therem

The island of Therem was an island in The Darian Isles that was also the capital island. The island was the most populated, modern, and was the biggest out of all the five islands, and it was often regarded as the most important. It had many cities and villages on it and also served as a large hub for infrastructure and transport-related economic actions. The people produced and made lots of ships and would also go out to trade with others. The Darian pirates occupied the island heavily during their rule over the isles, but faced lots of resistance from the native people, who were loyal to their old government and had to deal with the pirates for a while. In summary, Therem was a large and prosperous island that was the capital and home to the council of elders for The Darian Isles.

Instead of the capital island having a capital city it instead spread the government and its people across Therem as a whole so the entire island was the capital instead of just one city.
