Personal history

Young Life:

Bixby was born to two deep gnomes, Morty and Lax Stonefoot. Morty and Lax both served Arctig valiantly in the Markers, an Arctigian division of soldiers dedicated to uprooting cults dedicated to the Gods of the Dark Realms. During a routine sweep of a home in Skysword, a derranged cultist used a necklace of fireballs in an attempt to kill the Markers in a sinister ritual. Morty and Lax were the only two survivors, and were both horrifically wounded. With a young one at home, the pair were discharged from service when Bixby was 7 years old.   Bixby had a dissimilar childhood to the other children of Skysword. While other Arctigian children grew up with the desire to serve Arctig and greater Lateras with valor, Bixby grew up with a cruel indifference to the Vanguard. Bixby would often get in fights at school or receive disicpline for his attitudes towards the Arctigian Vanguard, this futhermore alienated and reinforced his disdain for his peers in the military.

Call To Action:

While his mandatory service in the Vanguard demanded his allegiance, it was the warm glow of his family's tavern that truly ignited his spirit. There, amidst the flickering torchlight and the laughter of patrons, Bixby found solace and purpose, relishing the role of host and storyteller over a pint of Sweet Honey Gnomish Ale.   But when the shadow of the Great Demonic Incursion fell upon Arctig, everything changed. Forced to trade his apron for a medic's kit, Bixby was thrust into the heart of a war that would test his resolve like never before. Amidst the chaos of battle on the Southern lines, where the Shielden Mountain Range loomed ominously in the distance, Bixby witnessed the devastating toll of the demons' onslaught.   Yet, in the midst of despair, a glimmer of hope emerged. As the Gnomish forces faltered, a band of Maladorian Dragonborn descended upon the battlefield, their bravery and valor inspiring awe in Bixby's heart. Without hesitation, he joined their ranks, risking his own life to aid the fallen and defend against the demonic hordes.   But fate had other plans in store. Just as Bixby thought his moment of heroism had come to an end, he was whisked away by the enigmatic Hill Gnome Black Unit, plunging him into a world of secrets and intrigue he had never imagined. Little did he know, this encounter would mark the beginning of a journey that would shape the destiny of Arctig and its people forever.

Their exchanges became a beacon of hope, laying the foundation for a groundbreaking alliance between Arctig and Malador during the relentless onslaught of the demon menace.   As the war's dust settled and Malador earned its place in the prestigious High Council of Lateras, Bixby's remarkable contributions did not go unnoticed. This unexpected hero, whose roots lay in the cozy ambiance of a family tavern, found himself thrust into the world of politics as Arctig's Ambassador to the High Council. His tavern tales and shared experiences with Drakorian became powerful tools, propelling Arctig to new heights of public relations and trade.   Yet, Bixby's journey was far from over.
