1.5 Demise of the Faithful - A Punch and a Prayer

General Summary

In the aftermath of [Lord Diego  party the adventurers decided that it was best to look into what they had discovered in his office. Namely they wished to learn more about the goddess Tymora and Lord Torix.

The Weeping Willow

While eating breakfast Josiah  gave the party letters that had been addressed to them. upon opening their letters they discovered that they had been fired from Lord Diego's mine's.

Tymora's Temple

First the party decided to learn more about Tymora. There they first spoke to the High Priestess who told them that Tymora is a good aligned goddess and would never be a part of the kind of an evil plot. During this conversation however Gorky was acting rather rude so Paathio decided to take him outside to keep him from ruining their ability to gather information. The party talking to the Priestess also decided to show them the marks they found on their bodies. The Priestess didn't know anything about them but promised she would ask around to see if she could learn anything. Afterwards the party spoke to a regular priest. Though they didn't learn anything new about Tymora they did learn that Lord Torix  had within the past few years become entangled with the dark arts.
While this was happening Paathio and Gorky were outside. Gorky did however overhear that Lord Torix would be in a meeting all day, and that this would be happening at town hall concerning the missing persons case.

The White Swan

Hoping to gather more information the party then traveled to a bar called The White Swan. They bribed the bartender and while he did give them information, it was information that they already knew. At this point Gorky picked a fight with an elf also at the bar. He won, and the elf left in a huff after Azarik healed his injuries.
