Piercer Disk

Used in naval Warfare. Replaced cannon balls pretty early.   Naval warfare with cannons and cannon balls started around 240 BP after the Force Disks was invented. 235 BP begun to be used and 230 cannon balls were no longer in use, being melted down for disks.   Piercer Disks are disks either made fully of metal or clay disks with metal edges. While most Disks are magic piercer disks are unmagical, with the exception for clay disks havign some hardening magic, as their only function is to pierce other ships.   With time defense against piercer disks was created to make the ships more defensive. As a counter to that Dispel Disks were created and in modern naval warfare piercer disks are never fired first. Strategy generally revolves around Dispel Disks being fired to dispel enemy defensive magic and Dust Disks to make it harder for the enemy to hit. Piercer disks are then used when opposing defense is down and there is a chance to sink the enemy ship.
