Adeptus Administratum - Overview

The Adeptus Administratum is the administrative arm of the Adeptus Terra and is found on any imperial planet. It is tasked with the calculations of the tithe, imperial archives and supervising the appropriate governance of planetery fiefdom, sub-sectors and the overall sector.
While not effectively in power, the Adeptus Administratum dispatch ressources, determine administrative priorities and collaborate with the Adeptus Arbites to ensure administrative procedures are respected. 
While the Administratum doesn't generally administrate private and planetary ressources, they oversee its general workings to ensure proper tithe level is selected to answer the needs of the Lord Sector Goriae and larger imperial demands.

Structure

The Administratum is a maze-like organisations which is divided in many adepts, praefects and agents depending on its local mission. While some worlds maybe considered too important to be administered by local agencies, they may select High-Praefects to rule over them, while others may have only limited Administratum presence as administrative overseers that investigate and observe local administration. 
As such, many titles and divisions may exist under the Administratum.
Its most well-known, however, is the Departemento Munitorum, which is in charge of the logistics and support of Astra Militarum and Navis Imperialis operations.

Culture

Working for the Administratum is a thankless and monotonous task. Most of its agents toil under lamps day and night, writing reports, cataloguing datas and comparing world tithes to perpetually adjusts them. Many roles and place within divisions of the Administratum are based in seperate minor cultures, often derived from local traditions affecting the working of the Administratum on many worlds.
While on some, an adept may live and work in the Administratum as any day-time worker would, in other place this take the tone of a priestlike duty, people being isolated in gloomy cells and scratching at paper for most of their life, only seeing others when their superiors deem them ready for marriage, reproductive rights, to maintain the stream of adepts.

High influence over the Astra Militarum, Navis Imperialis and trade charters because of their administrative and logistical authority over them. Close support of the Arbites to enforce tithe when local problems arise.
