Le Lord Sector Calixis Marius Hax utilise les forces vétérans dont il dispose au sein de la Garde Impériale pour "libérer" le Secteur Goriende ses dirigeants incompétents et corrompus.

Lord Marius Hax of Sector Calixis asked the return of his veteran Imperial Guard regiments before sending new forces into the meat-grinder. Reluctantly, the Lord Sector continued sending in forces but considered the High Command of the Margin Crusade to be incomptent at best and wasting precious manpower and resouces in a war that would never go further than the Halo Stars. Considering that all his neighbours had tried in some way to expand beyond the light of the Astronomican, he considered it to be a stupid endeavour to repeat the mistakes of the past. Considering that the Calixis Sector deserved to be repaid for their war effort and that he could never argue against the Lord Militant and Lord Generals of the Margin Crusade, he focused his attention on the fastly developping Gorian Sector.   His loyal agents discovered the role of the Janeko Dynasty in the coup to take over the sector from its legitimate rulers and the letters of execution sent decades before from Holy Terra, only stopped by the Cataclysm. He decided that the Gorian Sector and its corrupted elite would be the perfect target for his operations.   He rallied favors he was own by chartist captains making the trade route between the Calixis and Gorian Sector, called on favours with Rogue Trader fleets and some Inquisitorial Agents from the Tyrantine Cabal that had a close eye on the Gorian Sector since the events of the Cataclysm.   With this, he was able to get legitimacy to his plot against the Gorian Sector: The Janeko Dynasty was a corrupted institution, forcing under its illegitimate control a sector forgotten by the Administration and thus, also threatening the Margin Crusade efforts in the Halo Stars that used the Gorian Sector as a staging ground.   He planted proofs that there were sabotage against imperial crusade fleets and used contacts from his Calixis Synod in the Gorian religious capital of Agamemnon to force it to make a plea for liberation by the Righteous Margin Crusade.   Lord Sector Hax, wanting to absolutely have his hands on the sector’s means of production, proposed that his battle-forged veterans that were to be sent home would be deployed in the Gorian Sector, thus not affecting too much the Crusade Forces by using its depleted (but still more than functionnal) units for the cause while still sending new troops to the Margin Crusade.   The Gorian economy tried to rally against this new onslaught, Rogue Traders making secret wars between those loyal to the Dryaedes Cluster and those of Marius Hax’s alleageance. During this time, the small Battlefleet and Astra Militarum forces of the Sector, held to a minimum by Janeko the Second, were not able to stop pirate actions from merchants, mercenaries companies and rogue trader fleets from Calixis and worlds were plundered to then saw their economy built back by fresh arrival of resources from Calixian interests.   Veterans from the Margin Crusade, under the influence of Marius Hax, attacked trade fleets and Great House forces that were loyal to the Talid and Janeko Dynasty in a serie of anti-pirate battles. Unable to protect their damaged investment and send more reinforcement in the Sector, the Dryaedes Cluster stood watching while the Gorian Elites tried to get their finances back and flee the region against the invaders.
