Fianicci

Originally a small stone fort on the edge of the market town of Fianicci, the castle is all that remains of the original settlement. It has been reinforced and extended multiple times since the Rebellion in Vinzaglio, having been at the centre of some of the fiercest battles of the Second War of Savuran Independence.
In 1341 AK the surrounding town was razed to the ground and its civilian population slaughtered by Alderni forces under the command of Arturo Riddacci van Tuerbroek.
The Third Army of Savura remain stationed here, somewhat to the consternation of the Alderni. Their general Alessa di Marteri di Bregzana, holds the rank of interim Autokrator of the fortress and the surrounding town.

Whispers in the Darkness

It has been alleged by several individuals who knew Duke Arturo Riddacci that the massacre of 1341AK was deliberately engineered with an intention of empowering the Casket of Shadows of the necromancers of Nachtzahn.
