Kimbatuul Yazbaneferu

A dragonborn, of the “Brass Fury” clan of Kimbatuul, hatched 1285 AK in Lapizula; she is the granddaughter of the well-known dragonborn alchemist Kimbatuul Phylacos (lived 1201 to 1264 AK). Attended the Collegium Transmutione, achieving the grade of Adept in 1305 AK (thesis: “Anhydramantia Spiritualis, or: The Alchemical Ladder”). Remained in Lapizula until 1314 AK performing further research, before embarking on a series of expeditions over the following two decades, in which she travelled the world in pursuit of knowledge about the ancient lore of the dragons. Settled in Ysberinge in 1337 AK, and invited to take up a post as a visiting lecturer at the Academy of Gildenschloss in 1338 AK; she has since become a permanent member of the Faculty of Transmutation, lecturing on elemental alchemy and also providing tuition in the Draconic language to students of the Hall of Apprentices. We understand that she is in the process of writing a treatise on the ancient history of the dragons. Despite their interclan rivalry, she is in a longstanding relationship with Yarjerit Kallistratos; the pair have three hatchlings who are enrolled as apprentices in the Academy.
