Ptelebrug

An otherwise unremarkable village on the border between Aldernord and Savura, Ptelebrug is the major crossing point over the river Ptele. The ancient bridge, from which the village gets its name, is a strategically important point on the border, situated between Tonnenkreek Schloss and Fianicci where the rivers Tonn and Ptele meet. The village itself straddles the border, placing half of it in Savura and half in Aldernord; whilst most travellers who seek to cross the border here must submit to questioning and the inspection of any goods and cargo by the border guards, the villagers have a degree of freedom to move between the two banks due to a particular special dispensation in the Zallenkirk Accords which relates to the bridge.
Both sides of the river are heavily fortified by the Savuran and Alderni armies.
