Ghesh, a dragonborn member of the City Watch was present. He informed the group that the remains of a young woman (human, female, teens) was found in the alley. Although signs seems to indicate a struggle, it’s not clear what may have killed her. There are no tracks nearby. Only the usual rain barrels, discarded crates, etc., line the alley. Ghesh said this is the 4th body found this week. The last was a male halfling adventurer, before that was a young half-elven wizard who cast a fire spell (not a fireball) seemingly towards the ground, and the 1st victim was a gnome jeweler’s apprentice on his way home. All of the attacks seems to have occurred at night.   Later, the PCs come upon a young boy (human, 11 years old) on the run from people trying to kill him. He’s the only witness to an assassin who killed his noble father. If the PCs take the boy to the City Watch, corrupt members of the Watch will also try to have him killed. The assassin is a prominent member of the Damagers’ Guild, which has established itself in Waterdeep nearly five years ago.   Note: Teleport spells will not work in Waterdeep anymore since The Watchful Order recently placed a powerful warding spell upon the city preventing people from teleporting in and out of the city. The boy must be safely brought to the nobleman’s house for safety. However, along the way thugs, hired adventurers, corrupt City Watch members, and several assassins will attempt to stop the PCs from safely delivering the boy (Erinthar Alibakkar, mute heir to the noble house of Eriranther Alibakkar in Amn).       That Sinking Feeling, Part 1   Played on January 10, 2016 16 Mirtul, The Year of Three Ships Sailing (1492 DR) Baldur’s Gate, The Sword Coast     The Champions of the Vale, having taken on the responsibility of safely bringing Erinthar Alibakkar back home to Athkatla in Amn, used Xander’s magical Folding Boat to take them to Daggerford for supplies and then to Baldur’s Gate before sailing on to Athkatla.       Protective Services, Part 2   Posted on January 16, 2016 5 Mirtul, The Year of Three Ships Sailing (1492 DR) Waterdeep, The Sword Coast     The Champions of the Vale found themselves protecting a young boy who was being hunted by malign forces bent on slaying the boy for reasons unknown.       That Sinking Feeling, Part 2   Played on January 17, 2016 16 Mirtul, The Year of Three Ships Sailing (1492 DR) Baldur’s Gate, The Sword Coast       That Sinking Feeling, Part 3   Played on January 23, 2016 16 Mirtul, The Year of Three Ships Sailing (1492 DR) Temple of Sekolah, The Sword Coast       That Sinking Feeling, Part 4   Played on February 7, 2016 16 Mirtul, The Year of Three Ships Sailing (1492 DR) Temple to Sekolah, The Sword Coast     The heroes fought against a sahuagin priestess, slew a death slaad and a turtle dragon hatchling.       That Sinking Feeling, Part 5   Played on February 12, 2016 16-21 Mirtul, The Year of Three Ships Sailing (1492 DR) Temple to Sekolah, The Sword Coast
