Sethra La'mourne
Sethra La'mourne was born in 1471 DR to Pherissa, a tiefling sorcerer adventurer, and a human bard named Alluin Wordsmith she met in the cosmopolitan city of Baldur's Gate. Alluin tried to leave Pherissa to raise a child on her own after learning Pherissa was pregnant. Pherissa, who has Asmodean lineage, would not let Alluin leave. In a fit of rage, Pherissa killed Alluin. When the Flaming Fist was summoned by a neighbor who overheard the fight, Pherissa had no choice but to flee Baldur's Gate.
The pregnant Pherissa escaped by stowing aboard the Amnian ship. The Pathfinder. When she was discovered by the ship's crew days later, the ship's captain, a half-elf named La'mourne, took pity on Pherissa allowing her to remain on board. In time, La'mourne fell in love with Pherissa and offered to marry her and raise her child as his own. Three years later, Pherissa gave birth to a tiefling son, she named Valron La'mourne.
Meanwhile, Sethra La'mourne, as her mother named her, grew up on a ship traveling throughout the Sea of Swords and the Trackless Sea. For Sethra, sailing the seas meant freedom — the freedom to go anywhere and do anything as she pleased. While La'mourne taught Sethra the skills needed to be a sailor, Sethra's mother taught her the art of sorcery and revealed to Sethra her Asmodean lineage.
While still an adolescent, Sethra sought to carve her own future. In 1489 DR, she left her parents and her brother and found work as a ship's mage aboard the merchant's vessel, Pride of Cormyr. For five years, she performed her duty well and earned the respect of both her crewmates and Captain Roderik McClure, a Cormyrean whose family owned the merchant's vessel.
However, tragedy struck early one night in the month of Marpenoth, 1494 DR, when the Pride of Cormyr was attacked by the pirate ship, Sea Ghost. the ruthless pirates murdered Sethra's captain and crewmates and plundered the ship before setting it ablaze with Sethra still on board. An explosion sent Sethra into the sea where she washed ashore along a rocky coastline. When she came to, she found that her backpack had washed ashore with her. Soaked but uninjured, Sethra made her way up a cliff and came upon a deserted house overlooking the edge of the cliff. With a storm brewing, she entered the house and into an uncertain future.
Yet there was one thing Sethra La'mourne was certain of. She vowed that she would someday seek vengeance against the crew of the Sea Ghost.

Sethra La'mourne is currently adventuring in the fishing town of Saltmarsh. She met one adventurer in the old house where she sought shelter from the storm. She met the other adventurer while staying in Saltmarsh.Sethra La'mourne is played by Patrick V.
