Session 48: Darkness Incarnate

General Summary

Started the session by fending off Slarkrethel the 40,000 year old Kraken who successfully destroyed the Morkoth and recovered the Titan Stone, Tempest of Stronmaus Hekaton teleported you all to the Maelstrom using the Conch of Teleportation Ivellios met his father in the underwater city known as Ascarle, the Sunken City of Elves While teleporting back to Citadel Adbar his spell was interrupted by the Dodkong; summoning Ivellios to his underground temple You were all back at the Maelstrom in the throne room with just King Hekaton when his eyes went blank. In that moment the Dodkong crossed through a portal with a terrified Ivellios - the scar on his face now more prominent, similar to Zephyr's tattoos The Dodkong essentially reinforced how serious he was about collecting the Titan Stones; he was not pleased that you let this one fall into the hands of a Kraken. When Bolivar spoke up, the Dodkong silenced him, killing him instantly. Upon the Dodkongs departure, King Hekaton broke out of his trance and you told him what transpired. Ivellios brought Bolivar back to life, however Bolvar stripped down and walked out of the room. The evening the party went to bed broken and torn. The next morning you were awoken by a beautiful breakfast prepared for you by the storm giant handmaiden Louisa. After a long pow-wow you all eventually came to terms with the fact that you must band together to defeat this evil. Before teleporting back to Citadel Adbar, King Hekaton used his Scrying Pool to scry on: Dral Snooger - Bolivar's bother who is being held captive along with High Sorcerer Vaeril in the cloud giant castle known as Lyn Armaal Clara Brightwood - Ivellios' sister who is currently serving as a high ranking member of a church in a large city; perhaps Waterdeep Beikas Jo'Nas - Eldred's father who appeared to be in the same hypnotic quasi-undead state as Olga's father when you scryed on him. You saw him in some sort of underground dome chamber with a massive opening, a well of sorts, in the center with hundreds of other people in this same undead state. There you saw a heavily armored skeletal figure alongside Wulgreth, whose chest was glowing with the Bice Crag implanted in the center. The most terrify of all was a dracolich, that you saw crawling out of this well in the center of the chamber... Zephyr staying behind momentarily, King Hekaton teleported you all back to Citadel Adbar.
