The Malevolent Plague Is Created

In a last ditch effort to win a losing war, the novun invokers create a plague with dark alchemy.

The malevolent were once mortal-kind, but were transformed into something far more sinister by the highly contagious and deadly disease crafted through dark alchemy. Little resembles the living man or woman they used to be in life. Each malevolent regardless of type seems to share black or purple exterior with glazed and bronze colored eyes.   They are also incredibly agile and fast, able to move with surprising speed and grace despite their hulking bodies. Most malevolent aside from those seen leading the hordes, display little if any intelligence. Rather they seem compelled to kill and destroy anything living and will put themselves through certain death just for the chance to try.   Perhaps the most terrifying aspect of the Malevolent is their ability to spread the plague that created them. Suffering a bite or even a cut from one of their cursed weapons is enough to contract the disease, which quickly spreads throughout the body to kill it, and then reform the corpse into one of the horde.
