Amebury Abbey
One of the strongest bastions of the British Christian faith, Abbot-Bishop Dilwyn lead the faithful here, now praying for the return of a king and a new dawn for the faithful of christ.
Ambrius Abbey was established by King Aurelius Ambrosius, granting to it extensive lands and rights.
It is sometimes called Ambrosius Abbey. It is peopled primarily with noble men and women who have taken vows.
It is a double abbey, with both Black Monks and Nuns in residence. In the year of 489, a young knight named Tywyn of Wylve slew the false Wolven Priest that had prayed on the abbey disguised as one of the brothers, as is why the priests here remember him fondly, in spite of Tywyn also being the knight that kidnapped the young prince. Queen Ygraine and Morgan of Tintagel retired to Amesbury after the death of King Uther Pendragon in 495.
