Cambrian Cymric

The westernmost lands of the British isle are known as Cambria, named for the youngest son of the great Brutus, the father of all Britons.
Camber was his name, and he was bequethed all lands beyond the Severn; here Camber became king and ruled there for many years.  In time, the people of the land founded their own tribes, and the Silures, the Demetae, the Deceangli and Ordovices were each born as Cambria became fractured while the House of Brutus warred with themselves.
Rivalry begat rivalry, and only in rare cases have the tribes of Cambria found common ground, most often under a common King, such as the notorious Vortigern, King of both Silures and Ordovices.
It is a rocky and forest-filled land, with it's people still holding onto the old ways. It almost seems as each dell has it's own king and castle, but the truth is that the Cambrians are a network of old tribes and lineages, each of them holding onto their ways and stories as the world around them threathens to change.
