Aurora Derther
The first sorceress of Heodar. She still wasn't as powerful as Eternity's arcana itself. Her service in Heodar was long, and decorated. She had direct ties to the royal family, and protected them with her life.

She was never particularly strong, or fast, but she is very dexterous. She mostly relies on her magic to solve her problems.

Magic surrounds her. Everywhere she goes, a magical aura follows. Be it flames, storm, or arcane strands, something surrounds her that makes her impossible to miss.

Arcane power courses through her veins. She can use it to aid, and to harm. Her power is near limitless, though the same can be said of all sorcerers.

Personal history
She was born with arcane power from within. This power took the form of fire more often than not. She spent her early life learning this power, deciphering its capabilities, as well as its limitations. As she grew older, her viewpoint began to shift. She was blessed with this power for a reason. She has the capability to protect her homeland better than most. Therefore, she was obligated to do so. She enlisted into Heodar's imperial guard on her eighteenth birthday. Her arcane power allowed her to ascend the ranks faster than most.
Eventually, she found herself in the royal court among the royal family's personal guard, along with a man of equal age, and unrivaled swordsmanship by the name of Aryas Derther. She would get to know the man quite well. Aryas would tell her that he was an aspiring templar in Deos' name. By far, her closest friend was the king's youngest daughter, who was only sixteen when the Children of the Eternals kidnapped her. There had been an influx in missing persons cases, but it did not concern her, as her duty was to the royal family. There were others that were much better suited for such cases. When it was revealed that the Children of the Eternals were the perpetrators, and her best friend was the one that went missing, she realized that there was in fact no one other than herself more suited for the task.
Aryas would join her. While he himself did not yet wield any magic, divine or otherwise, he was unrivaled in way of swordsmanship. Ther search took them all across the City of the Dawn, and the surrounding towns, and villages. When they found the cultist's lair, in the City of the Dawn, they also found many of the original missing people, including the king's daughter. Even after Aurora had spent her entire arcane reservoir, and the flames around her fizzled out, the leader of the cult district still stood. As the man was about to strike Aurora, Aryas stepped away from his current engagement to provide aid. While locked in greatsword combat, Aryas swore recited his oath to Deos one last time. This time, he was accepted. Deos' power absolute coursed through Aryas, and he was able to deter the man for long enough so that Aurora could stand, and strike the cultist in his one weak spot, killing him.
After everyone was freed, she helped Aryas make the Honor Guard of Heodar, which would protect the City of the Dawn. The trials, and triblulations paired with the time they had already spent together caused her, and Aryas to fall in love. The two would have a so, named Killian. This peace was not to last. The boy would be orphaned as both Aurora, and Aryas would fall on the same battlefield towards the end of the War of Four Nations.
