Eitr Orias

The first to be corrupted by the Eternals, and the only family to a certain, "young" brimbarian wizard. He saw the sin of the old world, and he too wanted to escape such chaos. He was not always the corrupt necromancer that people read about in historical records. He once studied the arts of arcane wizardry, and used it to help everyone around him. However, grief, lack of respect from his peers, and temptation turned him into something else...

General Physical Condition

He was a rather fit brimbarian. He mostly relied on his mind to solve his problems, and to overcome obstacles.

Special abilities

HE knew how to bend Eternity's arcana to his will, and had access to a darker form of magic which allowed him to commit darker acts.

He always wore long, black robes with a cape. His gauntlets had a Theosite inlay to allow easy arcane focus.

Personal history

He was born into a world of sin, and strife. After his parents were taken, he only had his sister. He fought to protect her, and fought well. Magic didn't exist outside of the dragons on the Old World, so he fought with blade. Sin had yet to take hold of him, or his sister, so he, and his sister were both called to the rift between worlds. There, his sister met her love. He saw Horoth, and Arotha stand, and fight the armies of sin as he walked through the rift. From the moment he set foot on the new world, which the people named Eternity, he felt a strange force in the air, and beneath his feet. Immediately after the brimbarians made their nation, he began study of this strange force that surrounded him. The other brimbarians who studied the strange force called it arcane magic. Next to nothing was known about it, except a few ways it could be used. He had found ways of extracting it from his surroundings,, and learned more mays from others. He could never earn the respect of others who studied this new arcane force. No matter what discoveries he made, they never acknowledged him as a true wizard, despite the fact that he knew more than all of him. Around this time, his sister had given birth to a son. She named the boy Sojern. Complications after the fact led to her death, and Sojern's father committed suicide after that, leaving young Sojern in Eitr's care.
Eitr did his best to raise the boy well. He taught Sojern the ways of wizardry, and how to live his life. The grief of losing his sister never left his mind. Over the years, he searched for ways to bring her back. This way, he could see his sister once more, and Sojern could meet his mother. His search led him to find a dark force that claimed to have made Eternity. It called itself an Eternal, and it promised Eitr everything that he had wanted. It promised respect from his peers, a good life for Sojern. It promised him the ability to see his sister again. He studied the darker side of magic from there, the magic of this dark being. It gave him the secret to bringing back his sister. The dark entity called this magic necromancy. When he attempted to perform this ritual, he was thwarted by his nephew. Sojern said how this ritual would destroy the newly formed Brimbaria. Eitr didn't listen. He tried to ensnare the young wizard, to tell him exactly what needed to happen. Sojern ran. Eitr created mindless undead beings to bring Sojern back safely. Maybe then, he could talk some sense into his dear nephew.
After nearly a year of waiting, Sojern returned as he was making another attempt to bring back Sojern's mother. Sojern said how the ritual would destroy Brimbaria. Eitr tried to tell Sojern that it would only bring back his mother, and that their family would be complete again. As much as Sojern wanted to see his mother once more, he still fought his uncle. Eitr refused to cause mortal harm to his nephew. He was forced to kill one of Sojern's friends, but only because he himself would have fallen if he didn't. Eitr's restraint allowed Sojern to win. The dark force that had deceived Eitr left him in his time of need, and he was unable to absorb the spell that Sojern had cast. This spell killed Eitr. Now, he lives in perpetual torment in the Eternals' previous realm, and realizes his mistakes.

Education

He was among the first to study Eternity's arcana, and to document his studies. His understanding of how Eternity's physical world works is unlike any other for his time.

Employment

He spent his life profiting off of his own discoveries. Regardless of how many discoveries were made, he could never gain the respect of his peers. This was largely because of the way he studied Eternity's magic. Those other than himself who studied magic did so from a largely religious viewpoint, while he approached this study with his mind more on logic.

He laid a foundation for Sojern to create a basic understanding of Eternity's arcane magic.

Grief, and temptation led him to commit acts that could have destroyed his nation, and was killed by his own student.
