Theosite (Theo-site)

Silver with streaks of blue. This wonder metal has shaped Eternity into what it is now. It has made those who discover it very rich. The shine can be used as a mirror, and the glow can fill a room. However, it will only glow for those who are truly noble.

Properties

Material Characteristics

Theosite is lighter than any other metal. It is a silver, with streaks of blue running up, and down the blade.

Physical & Chemical Properties

After refining, the metal is cool to the touch. Even when left in flames, it will not get warmer than the one holding it.

Geology & Geography

Theosite is found in one location, Mt. theose in the northern end of Midor. There it is harvested as a magma, and refined into the lightest, and strongest material on Eternity.

Origin & Source

The magma of Mt. Theose is the only thing that contains the superior steel.

History & Usage

History

It is used for many things. From weapons to coins, everyone has a unique usage for this glowing super steel.

Discovery

Theosite was discovered by Theos Vorsa, the first dwarven king, and forgemaster. the first thing it was used for was a hammer. That same hammer would sit at the side of every dwarven king.

Everyday use

The brimbarians of Brimbaria turn it into coins for currency. Outside of that, the most common use of Theorium is weapons, and armor.

Cultural Significance and Usage

Theosite glows only when the user is truly noble. As such, it is viewed as Deos promise of purity on the new world.

Refinement

To turn it from its molten state, to a ingot, one must place it somewhere very cold. The most common place is on top of a mountain. Once hardened, its melting point goes up tremendously.

Manufacturing & Products

The most common product of Theosite is weapons, and armor. Though the brimbarians do turn it into coins for currency.

Hazards

The process of making Theosite is dangerous, as it requires the smith to ascend Mt. Theose to harvest the magma. After it is harvested, they must pour it straight into the mold. They must then take it to the summit of the highest peak in Eternity, Mt. Belon. There, it cools, and solidifies. Once it is hard enough to shape, hammer, and anvil is needed. Once the shape is perfected, and the metal has fully cooled, the project is complete.

Distribution

Trade & Market

The dwarves of Midor demand to dollar for the stuff, and as they are the sole provider, everyone else is forced to comply.
