Rogues of the Halfling North

When sword and shield didn't work, the Halfling north tried something a little more precise to deal with their problems.

Once it was made clear that war was always possible, the halfling north needed a way to defend themselves should they go to war. They'd tried sword and shield warfare during Kainox's conquest, but they were decimated. Some thought maybe they could use something more precise. Rangers, and thieves were the most precise of possible protectors. The thieves' guilds of each city-state contributed to this unit. They'd go behind the lines, cut off supplies, and cause chaos. Eventually, with no supplies, the enemy would be forced to retreat.   This unit had no name, and was simply known as the Rouges of the halfling north. While not at war, this unit would serve as a police force for the halfling north. They'd be employed should things get out of hand. This unit would protect the Halfling North from threats both foreign, and domestic for years to come.
