Magitechnology

Magitechnology or "Magitek" as it is commonly known in slang is the use of natural aetheric currents to create effects with the assistance of objects. Using a complicated series of circuits and magical currents to create the desired effect on or from the object. Examples include magitek rifles that project pullets using magical force or a railway using a powered magitek rail to move carts along it.

Utility

The current limitations of Magitechnology is unknown. Current uses include the following:

• Powered Armor
• Autonomous Golems
• Siege or Vehicle Weaponry
• Transportation
• Various quality of life items
• Sentient Life*

*It is unknown how much magitek plays a roll in the creation of sentience or if it merely acts as a conduit for aetheric sentience.

Manufacturing

Magitek is hand crafted by either its inventor or an artisan who has studied the original designs. Each piece has to be hand crafted due to the circuitry involved. Attempts at automation have so far failed to produce reliable results. Some doctors of Aetheric studies believe the physical act of crafting the devices may be required for some reason and that just the circuitry being in the right place isn't quite enough.
