Taurkin {Centaurs}
Description
Tauric creatures, commonly called Taurkin or Centaurs, are a broad category of humanoid-tauric crosses created by the Giants of Zhushen as a worker class. Long ago they applied magics that were old even by the standards of then to cross humanoid creatures with other animals, mostly beasts or burden for strength and carrying capacity. As the population on Qinhei at that time was almost entirely human, a human top half is the most common by far. The bottom was mostly aurochs or bulls, with the occasional exception such as a tiger (note that since horses don't exist in Levantis, the typical horse/human hybrid also doesn't). Even today most centaurs are still part of the Zhushen God-King Dominions, but with the recent agrarian crisis and the fracturing of the Giant God-Kings, many have breached away and joined the Dragon-Star Rebellion to the west. From here they raid and conquer, trying to return the land to the people, although not necessarily the people who lived there before. As Zhushen has always focused heavily on domestic policy and little on trade with other continents, it is extremely rare to find a Centaurkin anywhere other than on Qinhei. That being said, the Dragon-Star Rebellion which has a lot of tauric followers has been trying to make contact with other places such as the desert continent of Sabara. So the occasional centaur may appear elsewhere.Statistics
