The Reclaimer Clan-Hives

Description

Aberrations are drawn to the Prime, and indeed sometimes manage to make their way there where the barriers sealing the Far Plane are weak (or through more roundabout ways). And nothing weakens the barriers separating these more than the presence of several, large limbs of an extremely powerful and ancient Elder Titan. And not only that, but when aberrations are brought to the Prime, they often are for a purpose ordained by their alien masters. Here the purpose is clear: to retrieve Ysla's limbs and offer them to her so she may be whole again.
This has of course brought them into conflict with the Pligitans, who depend on the Titan limbs for food and other materials. There is no way they would ever give them up, and quietly sneaking them away is not an option either, so they are in an ever-lasting war of extermination. But the Pligitans have grown tough from constant butchery and consumption of Titan meat, and the aberrations can muster only limited numbers supplied with enslaved wild-life. As such they have also tried more subtle ways like swaying people, and particularly the mad, to their side with limited success. They have even tried to approach Tellaphrenos, believing his madness to be a sign that he has fallen under Ysla's influence, but they cannot get a grip on him as he violently kills any who bother him.

Culture

They are here for but one purpose, and their entire society is built around the war effort. Constantly trying to increase their number or lay ambushes for the Pligitans to dwindle their numbers. They have built expansive hives in the western parts of the Virulent Flats, preferring to stay away from the undead of the Grave Moors. The vast majority of their number are cruel Neogi, and this colors their interactions with the rest of the island, which is unsurprisingly hostile and violent. They look down upon natural life, seeing it only as potential property to be enslaved by their innate ability to dominate others. They often go out on hunts in large groups to overwhelm lone targets, using the dangerous and predatory wild-life as useful foot soldiers to make up for their own physical weakness.  

Religion

Naturally many of them defer to Ysla, as they are here to regain her limbs, but over time they have managed to pull in more and more of their aberrant kin and some of these serve the other Titans before Her. The Neogi and Nothics mostly worship She Who Seeks, but there are also Slaad and particularly their Death Slaadi priests who worship Thrice-Flayed Nahr Alva and have vowed to kill all Pligitans in His name. They are also the ones who are pushing for expansion closer towards the Grave Moors. There are also two hives of Gibbering Mouthers of Ebrietas the All-Faced, spreading disease and corruption wherever they go. They appear to be fascinated by the toxic nature of the Virulent Flats and rarely move out.
