Glowbloom

A magical plant species created by Corbin Vidiri, inspired by the Night Lily. The glowbloom plant glows like a torch at night and consists of several glowing flowers which can be plucked to make the light portable, though the flowers themselves only glow for a few minutes once they’ve been removed from the plant. Each mature glowbloom has about 35 flowers, and plucked flowers are replaced at a rate of 4~5 per day. The plant grows to a radius of 1’ making it a good choice for indoor mood lighting as well as outdoor lighting.   The glowboom plant will start to produce light after only 1 month of growing but doesn’t reach it’s normal brightness until 11 months. Under the care of an expert gardener the glowbloom grows up to 50 flowers which increases the brightness considerably. As glowblooms are not a naturally occurring species, each plant requires magical reagents worth about 25gp to sow.
