This lumberjack has been working out of Tatzlford but after an encounter with a dangerous monster in the forest he lost his magic spear. His friends and coworkers believed he had simply lost it (possibly after to many ales) and made up the encounter as an excuse.
Fortunately a chance encounter with the Rogue Talons in Ana's bar during a visit to Talons Rest led to the band searching out the rare brute and were able to defeat and recover the lost spear from it's lair. Proving his tale was true and earning him many drinks as his fellows repeatedly requested he retell the tale.
