Farouk Clive Kimbedjian (a.k.a. Ego)
A member of the Idless, Ego travelled with his partners Mog & Fester through North and South America, until orchestrating my emancipation n 2085.
What followed were years of struggle, increased counter-Idless measures, and battle while they harboured Baiko. Within the Spuzzum Grid and various Idless communities, Ego became a sort of folk-hero (as heroic as one could be without being lauded as more than an equal), who stood firm to fight for their families and way of nomadic life.
By 2092, Ego split off from the Idless to continue his and Baiko's search for me in Europe, where they enlisted the aid of Demyan Anastas.

Personal history
For the majority of Ego's life, he was a loyal member of the Idless global collective. He travelled as much as he ought, held relationships without ownership and practiced free association and free love. His father was a staunch Idless, his mother went through Lessening prior to Ego's birth outside Lyons, France.
When Idless life became too much for her, she escaped using the IDent chip proving her French citizenship. A betrayal of everything she became as Idless. Ego was a child, too young to understand why his mother left, too clouded to see the bruises and fatigue under her eyes. He screamed, when she went to collect him.
She never came back, and Ego continued to travel with his father, then a collective of passed-off Idless until he made his own rig when he was a teenager. A teen runaway caught his eye. 'Katherine' became Mog, and they finished their rig together. Travelled across North, Central and South America in various Grids and caravans.
They met Fester in South America, and the couple became a throuple.
Gender Identity
Ego does not ascribe to 'labels' such as gender. Be that as it may, he wears predominantly gender neutral clothing and is known by most as 'he'.

Ego & Mog met, when he was 16 and she was a wide-eyed 15 year old on the run from The Flag War. They bonded over retrofitting an old van conversion into a tiny home, and took off along the west coast of North, Central & South America. After 2092, Ego & Mog were separated by the Conglom, only to come back together at the end of events in Neon Lieben.
