Katherine Bianca Kimbedjian- Iversen (a.k.a. Mog)
"She saw a murder." Fester groaned, flopping down on the bed beside Baiko and playing with a data stick between her fingers.
"What'll the Po say? 'Let the sentient android woman testify'? Set a precident today, if anything else, the lawyers might claim she's a moveable toaster oven. Way of the world, baby." Mog ran her hand through Fester's growing hair. Watched her eyes flutter shut. "Baiko, we're setting the tent up on the roof for you. Got a new phone in your go-bag. Don't be dumb and contact anyone from your old life. Babylon's book has a strip of white out with your name underneath it, so... when you're ready, you'll know how to pick a new name."
"We should hack in tonight. Get her geolock."
"No. Rest up, I'll hit the dark spiders, see what flies they caught." Mog's eyes were the colour of the Pacific, a briny green as close to blue as the sky was to stars away from city lights.
The Flag War was particularly hard on Mog and her The Conglomerate of Gaia parents, when they moved to the compound and away from the neighbourhood of Nationalists she was raised around. By the time she found the Idless, 'Katherine' was already at the mental place to undergo Lessening. Meeting the enigmatic and passionate Ego was part of the pull.
She travelled with Ego, never quite getting the hang of the 'free love' on offer at Idless erotic togetherness sessions. She wanted Ego. Then, she wanted Ego and Fester.
By the events of 2092 (Neon Lieben), Mog asserted herself as more than a mother and caretaker, she became a guerilla hacker, a freedom fighter and an escape expert.

Mog joined the Idless as a disenfranchised teenager, having torched her IDent chip and crushed her phone during the The Flag War. Whisked away by the enigmatic and charismatic Ego, Mog (formerly Katherine) soon forgot about shopping malls, school squabbles and walk-in closets for the freedom of travel without ties. The only tie which mattered was Ego, and for years they travelled in a truck of their own. Their secret bastion against the world.
On a trip down the coast of South America, they discovered a young adult struggling with their gender and place within an ultra-conservative religious commune. Mog held Fester's hand, as they drove away. Soon the couple became a throuple, and by 2085 they were expecting their first child. Separated after the events of 2086, Mog and Fester (and their two children Viggo & Nasrin Kimbedjian) were captured by the The Conglomerate of Gaia in what was formerly known as Canada. Housed in Vancouver, by 2092 Mog escaped her confinement and travelled to London to find Ego, Baiko and Lieben. A hacker by trade, Mog can piece together equipment from detritus left anywhere and build something serviceable given the chance.
Mog and Ego were reunited in the events of 2092 (Neon Lieben).

"Mog?" The water washed up on the shore, and the heart was gone. Replaced by an image from a classic video game, Mog's favourite. The water shifted again, a map of London and two flags in the sand. Ego sat up, checked his pocket for his wrist comp. "I see you. You're here? In London? What about Fester, the kids..."
Another wave and another, no picture or hieroglyphs. Nothing but the eventual loneliness of a wave without Neptune's hand to guide it.
"We're almost there, Mog. Hold on." The hologram shifted as Sophia groaned awake, knees curled into her thin chest. "You awake, Soph? You with me?"
"Mog's in London. Mog's in London, Soph. Mog always knows what to do, she'll know what to do." Ego gripped Sophia's shoulders, faith in the woman he loved a series of ineffable codes in his genome. Sophia's breath caught as the network of NEO-Ns and NEO-Ws filtered through her eyes like spots after staring too long at Icarus' sun.
"I don't want to go."
