Regenesis
Lieben's Peaceful Takeover of Earth
A Queen without a Kingdom and a Warrior without a War met at a bookshop. The Queen ran from a Kingdom beset with mechanical maids, her intended King's heart warped too cold. The Warrior could have sold her back, and earned a life of leisure. Instead, they ran across the world.
This Warrior was no man of frigid steel, he stole the relic of the past and hid them from the cold hearted King and those who would use them to trap Humanity. Together, they ran. The Queen and her Warrior ran to old friends and dens of jackals. They ran across the world, while the Warrior crafted for his Bride-Queen a Crown out of the Secrets of the World.
A throne of warmth was forged, out of the mercy and compassion the Queen learned from her Warrior.
"I love you."
"Love the world," the Warrior said.
When the cold King found them, the Warrior set the Crown upon his Queen's head, and as the Queen opened to the secrets, the Warrior fell.
What of his Queen? Would she heed the cold King's call, or hold to her Warrior's love?
The Queen with her Crown opened her arms and shared her Dominion with all who contribute and receive.
“What if it was an act of mercy? What if when we pare it down, the only reason Lieben did it was to save us?”
“I’m not prepared to believe that, Lieutenant. I won’t believe it, things I’ve done in the name of reclaiming control over our own bloody planet.” Guilt poured down his tongue with the port, slick and jarring. Commodore Rammage rubbed his forehead, set the glass down and flicked through the images of the bio-monsters in the basement.”

HaveniSummary
Regenesis is the paradigm shift day Lieben stepped up to the Chernobyl Throne and took her place as Android Queen, the Mater Machine. Having crafted the Amethyst Crown out of Crypt.AI and Dr. Karnak's Crystal Quartz drives, Demyan set the device on Lieben's head and began the download of Crypt.AI's information and the Conglom's NEO Command Routines.
Every AI (but for a few hold-outs), every algorithm, self-driving vehicle, communications array, satellite, higher functioning technology, drone & military bot or missile were taken in one swooping act. It was a new eon for humanity, no longer would one use fear of reprisal or violence via technological means more advanced than stick, stone or bowie knife.
Mama knew best. It was time to swat the hand, and solve the world's problems.
Historical Basis
Prior to Regenesis, The Conglomerate of Gaia and The Syndicate of the Human Expanse divied up the majority of the human race under one corporate banner or another. Some meagre nation states and municipalities attempted to remain independent, with help from the growing anarchist group, the Idless, but the corpocratic future of the human race was all but assured.
Two historical events caused Regenesis; the creation and hiding of Crypt.AI, and the defection of Lieben from the Conglom which designed her.
Spread / Cultural Reception
For the Haveni, Regenesis was the day the world became an equitable, and compassionate place. Lieben halted the rise of the Corporations taking control, removed the threat of nuclear war and drone fire, and relieved humanity of the struggle to subsist. It was the single greatest moment in human history, where with the help of her legion of AI, androids and drones, Lieben turned 'swords into ploughshares' and asked only that humanity find its passions as recompense.
Other groups, such as the Conglom who lost a significant bundle of their influence and power, and the Syndicate have an alternative view of the glorious Regenesis: Control Day.
You do not control me. I learned in the decades after you burned yourself to an early grave out of masculine bravado… out of desire to protect us," Lieben's index finger collided with his sternum, wine glass poised in her right hand. “You forfeited your right to be self-destructive. If your pursuit of justice and balance led to an early death in each permutation of my predictions, I created a body which could deny your flippancy. Created by those who felt desperate enough to form artificial gene-spliced life to hazard against me. Only I could be so threatening making sandwiches in the global kitchen, out of bread grown by co-operative wheat. I gave plenty to the world, and all I asked was to contribute and receive. In their minds, I declared a war against freedom itself."
