Personal history
Esquetet, like all of the Elder Gods, was born in the violent formation of Lindrinor's Universe. She represented the aspect of Entropy, Chaos, and Randomness. For hundreds of millions of years after her birth, she travelled through Lindrinor's Universe searching for creative and insightful ways to disperse energy more efficiently and make the universe reach Absolute Zero temperature as fast as possible. And it was in a planet called Lindrinor that she found the best tool for the job: Life.
She had seen organized structures before, but never like this. Apparently, if given the right conditions, matter starts to organize itself into more complex and controlled things. At first, Esquetet got enraged when she discovered that. How could such a thing exist? How could something so simple go against the Laws of Thermodynamics? So, she decided to investigate further. She spent further millions of years on that planet studying the inner workings of life and what drove its creation. Eventually, she found an answer to why it existed in the first place. And it was indeed the answer she needed.
Truth is, life is a complex tool of Entropy that helps it to do its purpose: spread chaos and reorganization across the entire universe. Apparently, life was no more than an "Organized way to disperse the total energy of a system". It is the best tool for the job, so to speak. Therefore, life was something that Esquetet needed to nourish and help grow, not end or be against. So, she had an idea: Esquetet used her Fragment of Possilibility and worked for millennia to create a couple of being capable of protecting and helping life on its evolution. That beings were then named Durantia and Kurema. Although, as a byproduct of that creation, Amled also came to be. But its story is for a different time.
After that, he bestowed Durantia control over life and its' inner workings and took her with him to travel the Universe. Kurema, however, was cursed to be her servant and Esquetet granted him control over Death and banishing him to the After Realm. Amled, however, was so fragile and weak on his birth that Esquetet left him on the planet Lindrinor to fend for himself. A mistake she would regret making for the rest of her long life.
