Sketches of the Ashland
The last memories of a specific place at a specific time.
To my children and to my beloved, These drawings show what is left of my home, Kramanthum. Burned in a flash and rotten by the years, where now only a few logs still stick out of the ground. The land has a certain beauty to it. In my heart it will always be the bustling village of wood that I grew up in and I leave for you not only images of the ashland but also the Kramath that I remember.
From My Past to You
Ronas Baran was born in Kramath and lived there until it burned to the ground in 55RB. After he left, he found love and had a family but he never forgot about his home; his memories forever tied him to that place. For himself, he traveled back to the land in which he was raised. He walked familiar roads, bathed in familiar waters, and stood in an familiar place, barren as it was. For his family he sketched the place as it was when he was younger so that they may see a glimpse of what his home was like.Cultural Impact
Sketches of the Ashland has become an important piece of cultural identity in Wysix county of Grara. Every town in the region has created firebreaks, brush clearing jobs, and plans for fighting fires. These skills and techniques are not often valued by communities that have never before experienced severe fires but those that have experienced them seek out the skills and services of these firefighters.Stub Article

This article is being worked on, perhaps not at this very moment, but it is being worked on.On the fields of Kramath,
where the fires have burned,
when the flames lost their wrath,
and now nature's returned.
The Windmill
After the burning of Kramath, the building that recieved the least damage was the windmill up on the hill. While it was burned beyond repair, it remained standing. Baran's sketch of this windmill has become the most iconic image from the collection and has been reproduced numerous times. Famously, a copy of this sketch hangs in the county hall of Wysix as a reminder that they should always be prepared to fight fires."Built in a lifetime, burned in a moment."
