A wagon is traditionally drawn by a team of horses or oxen numbering from two to eight and used by many different facets of society including, merchants, entertainers, military, swindlers, and many more. The typical design of your average wagon varies in dimensions and weight range based on needs. For travelers will much larger needs or specialties, they may instead invest in a Caravan. Caravans are custom-designed wagons of a usually much larger design and purpose. They also tended to be used as everyday lodgings for the owners. Many of these Caravans can be found among the large troupes as well as military and circuses. Caravan sizes and price are extremely higher than you basic wagon and they are not seen as frequently. Due to some caravan sizes, they are usually pulled by teams of six to eight oxen and in some cases, some have even been seen to be pulled by two to four elephants.
